Slimming World has a range of diet ready meals on sale in Iceland stores. Asda launched its own range of diet ready meals called Slimzone which Feature Slimming World logos (Slimming World, Extra Easy and Free) which retail at 50p less than Slimming World’s Iceland products.
Slimming World claim Asda is using their logos unlawfully to promote its similar products and are now taking Asda to court over trade mark infringement.
Slimming World has a 47 year old brand and renowned reputation, they do not want Asda using that reputation to improve sales for Asda’s own products.
