Qualcomm who make mobile phone chips has filed complaints against Chinese smartphone maker Meizu with intellectual property courts in China. Qualcomm had hoped this would press Meizu to agree terms on a long negotiated patent licensing agreement between the two companies but this has not happened.
Qualcomm are filing complaints with the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) as well as similar agencies in Germany and France.
